Oliver Moir is a multi-disciplinary artist from Melbourne, Australia working sound, video, film, performance and writing, and has a longstanding practice as a curator, programmer and producer. He has a deep love for the absurd, the expressive and anything experimental. His performance art borders on frantic, but at the same time aims to hit an emotional chord with his audience. You’ll likely find Oliver miming love ballads at the pub with a tear streaming down his left cheek, finding inspiration for his next video installation.
Oliver has started up a string of creative businesses and collectives including Funeral OST, INSTASIS, Domino Pals and The Caravan which comprises a record label, film production company, tours and events collective and a travelling artist in residency.
Oliver's music has been released on multiple labels around the world and had his video art and films shown internationally. He has experience running large scale festivals and authoring award winning grants.
